INTRODUCTION TO BACHELORS OF ARCHITECTURE
Bachelors of Architecture is a five year full time graduation program. Successful completion of the program qualifies the student to register with the Council of Architecture, New Delhi and work as professional Architect all over India. It also opens a plethora of further options such as higher studies /specializing in subjects of architecture. Studying allied fields such as Product Designing, Set Designing, Law etc. Considering the fast pace of development in the country, the field of architecture offers tremendous scope and prospects for creative Architects to shape the rapidly urbanizing world in a sustainable fashion.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, All India Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or equivalent with Mathematics and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) or as declared by appropriate authority, from time to time;
(iii) Passed (10+3) full time Diploma examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disabilities belonging to Maharashtra state only) with Mathematics as compulsory subject or as declared by appropriate authority, from time to time;
(iv) The candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA or obtained Non Zero Positive Score in JEE Main Paper II;
(v) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
